If you asked me as a child what I wanted to be “when I grew up”, I would have answered without thought…a baker! Baking and cooking with my Mom and Dad as I grew brought me immense joy and satisfaction…those were my favorite days! I can still remember my first children’s cookbook…Kinder Krunch! I made every recipe from that book ten times over, and laugh as I remember bringing baked goods to my friends…I’d remind them not to forget to return my mom’s dish!

The volatility of the finance industry, and the desire to work for myself has brought me full circle…I like to think of Dolce as my “Sweet Escape” from the confines of the corporate business world!

My happiness is brought about by making others smile, and what better way than cupcakes! My family has always been very close, and we eat together often. I am typically the one called upon by my brother or sisters to make their favorite dish, whether a big pot of sauce or a tray of dessert. Baking is not a job for me, but my true passion that I am now able to share.

For me, Cupcakes bring fond memories of growing up, loads of laughter shared with my siblings as we fought over the beaters, and smiling faces of all who tasted what we made. They are my way of sharing with you all of the wonderful recipes and traditions my family has taught me over the years.
